Steve, it has been a few weeks and we are loving the new look of the first floor! Thank you so much for the professionalism, craftsmanship and friendliness you presented during our project. Jack and I appreciate all you have done to make it an easy, pleasant journey to our 'new' home! 

Thank you for making the time in your busy schedule to repair our staircase before the Christmas holiday. With a full house of guests expected on Monday and the 4 p.m. Eagles game scheduled, there will sure to be plenty of people traversing up and down those stairs to watch the game on our flatscreen TV and now we can relax knowing our stairs are safe for our guests. I've added your contact information to my phone as a resource for future projects.

We are just finishing up our project. It has been three weeks, lots of dust, some noise, very little privacy, but it is looking fantastic and we are very happy with the almost results. Steve was right on with the schedule. We were finishing off an area on the second floor - needed framing, insulation, drywall, lights, painting and carpet. Worked out great, we have two new closets. 

We also wanted two bedrooms painted and carpeted in our original plan. We went from stained trim to white trim. That's where the dust entered the picture, but the end result is so wonderful we don't care about the dusting. So that was the original quote. Because their work ethic was so good (always on time, respectful, neat, such hard workers) we added two more rooms and the foyer to paint. The difference in the 'before' and 'after' is dramatic.

We are very pleased with the work and Steve and his crew. I would highly recommend them!

We used Steve's Home Solutions recently (11/24) to do repair work on an existing stone wall, stone step and a large portion of our blue stone patio. Steve's cost estimate for the work was very reasonable compared to other estimates and he was very timely in getting the estimate to me, and once we agreed to the work, very timely in getting the work started. Once started, Steve's team worked hard and efficiently on the various projects and did a very good job as far as attention to detail and doing what was agreed upon. Thumbs up to Steve's HS and I'll definitely look to him for future projects.

Not sure if Terry got to you yet but we are...UNDER CONTRACT!!!! Meeting the inspector out there for final walkthrough. Thanks again for all the care you put into the place. It totally made the difference.

OK, so Steve did some work for me late last fall repairing a stone wall on my front porch, releveling and securing a step at the back of my house and releveling and positioning some flagstones on my patio. His two workmen did a good job and were pretty quick about it and the price was reasonable (less) compared to other masons. I'm about to plan to use him to install some new windows too. No complaints and Steve is quite genuine and honest in my opinion. 

[Text forwarded from Dave to Terry] Hi Terry. Just wanted to pass along a thanks for recommending Steve Williams. He replaced the rotted wood on the front porch and did some work in the crawl space. We were very pleased with his work and we will definitely go back to him for future jobs.

We live in a sideways split level home and initially hired Steve to just take down old paneling and put dry wall and some ceiling lights. And well, the project got bigger and bigger, not by him but by us! Here's what he ended up doing: took the paneling off, down to the studs, remove the old insulation, give a good look at the wiring, and update, if necessary, add a new thermostat in a different place than the original, then dry wall and paint the living room!

We had one south facing big bay window and he took that out, and replaced it with french doors. On the other side of those doors was a sunroom, and that adjoining wall was an exterior wall with aluminum siding. He removed the siding, and paneled that wall with matching wood to the rest of the room. He removed a window on that wall that was part of a powder room, sealed it up on both sides. We had another room, a craft room, connected to the living room that had a huge overhang and again, was paneled. He gutted the room and gave us another two feet of space in that room. He placed Pergo flooring in the living and craft rooms. He then painted those rooms as well as our dining area and hallways. 

In the process of removing the old paneling, Steve discovered rotting wood in the wall near the garage. He removed the old wood and properly repaired it. We also had a leak in the plumbing of a second floor bathroom while he was working downstairs. He quickly ran upstairs to see what was wrong and fixed it for us.

Timewise, they started at the beginning of December and completed all the projects by the first week of January. Steve was flexible with our scheduled holiday plans and with our ever increasing project list! The work crew were nice, quiet, polite, hardworking - from 8:30 a.m. until sometimes after 6. Every day they cleaned up after themselves so that area was walkable. Steve frequently checked in on them and on some days worked side by side with them. Their work is immaculate. We've had neighbors come in and were astonished at the transformation. 

We continue to use his company - we are in the queue for recementing our walkway and putting in outdoor railings and placing decorative faux stone panels aside the front door. After that, down the road, repaving our driveway.
